Findings from a new international report show that two-parent families are affiliated with better education outcomes in Australia. The Director of the National Marriage Project in the US, Dr. Brad Wilcox addressed the findings from the World Family Map Report at the recent World Congress of Families in Sydney.

Former PM Changes Marriage Stance

Kevin Rudd changed his long held viewpoint on marriage announcing this week that he no longer supports the view of the major Christian denominations of heterosexual marriage. The ACL believes that this will create a new Stolen Generation and will rob children of their biological identity through same-sex surrogacy and other assisted reproductive technologies.

A special event for the Blue Mountains

People who live on the east coast of Australia (and folks who know some early Australian colonial history) know what an important event the first crossing of the Blue Mountains by Europeans was. Only a short expedition (18 days out and six days back), it was pivotal to the success of the colony as insufficient grazing lands existed east of the Great Dividing Range, of which the Blue Mountains form a part, directly west of Sydney. A special event is being held to mark the bicentenary tomorrow and it includes Mission Aviation Fellowship.
