Question: What's the money for?

We have secured over 100 radio licences and need to get them on quickly. This urgency is being driven by the very real threat that other people could lodge claims on these licences (under the Government's "use it or lose it" terms), and also our desire that as many people as possible may hear the truth of God's word in these turbulent times. The monies will empower us to engage people to locate transmission sites, to purchase and install equipment and then promote these new services in each town, along with our backup services like The Word for Today and Pray For Me.

Question: What time frame are you working to?

We are hopeful to be able to have 100 new sites on-air within 12-18 months, however success depends on us raising the funds required then finding and engaging the right people for the job.

Question: Are gifts tax deductible?

Yes, if you are an Australian taxpayer. All donations received before June 30 can be claimed in this financial year. Note that donations received after this date are still deductible, only in the next tax year.

Question: Can I make a pledge and send the money in over time?

We would prefer single-transaction donations as it involves less administration, however you can commit to monthly payments if you wish. Note the Operation Acceleration total will only include donations pledged to be received before the end of this year.

Question: Can I make a donation toward a specific town?

So that we can use all the funds we receive as effectively as possible, we are taking a "pool" approach to funds raised, so that we can apply them where most needed or where opportunities are ready to be taken. We have done fund-raisers in the past where monies were allocated and held for specific towns but we have found the administration of this to be very burdensome. We are keen to also avoid a situation where we raise almost all the money for a number of projects but can't start any of them because the funds are encumbered to those specific projects which can only commence when all the funds for that project have been raised. Our committment is to see ALL these licences on-air ASAP, and having this flexibility will result in it happening faster.
