Anne from Babinda in Queensland started listening to Vision just over two years ago after her husband’s passing. She has found listening to be a source of inspiration and comfort during such a difficult time.
‘After my husband passed away I suddenly had more time,’ says Anne. ‘Before that, I didn’t really listen to much radio at all. But now I have really gotten into it, and it’s been just so wonderful. I thoroughly recommend it to all my friends.’
As a Religious Instruction teacher in the Cairns area, Anne loves teaching young children, embracing each opportunity that comes her way. ‘It’s very rewarding, and the children are wonderful. They love it. And I’ve just found Vision to be such an inspiration,’ she says.
Listening to Vision helps Anne learn more about the Bible, and the teaching throughout the day encourages her to delve deeper. As an RI teacher, she is passionate about paying that knowledge forward and investing in the next generation.
Anne has donated to Visionathon because she has a heart for reaching more people with the good news of the Gospel.
‘Vision is just too good to let go. And if it can get to Sydney and Melbourne as well, that would be just awesome.’

For every person who responds with a gift, a generous partner will provide a Plain English Version of the Bible, distributed through Bible League, to support the work of Indigenous evangelists in Australia. Your contribution to Visionathon ensures a copy of this new translation ultimately ends up in the hands of an Indigenous person in Australia.
