News headlines have been made around Australia recently about the discovery of ‘stardust’ found in an Australian meteorite, and they say it’s the oldest-known material on earth.

Scientists claim that they have identified a 7-billion year old grain of stardust older than our solar system.

The Murchison Meteorite, where the stardust was found inside, fell to earth in the Victorian country town of Murchison in 1969.

Dr Tas Walker from Creation Ministries International has a slightly different answer to the origins of this ‘7 billion year old grain of stardust’. He shared the Biblical narrative with Neil Johnson on Vision Christian Radio’s 20Twenty program.

When the meteorite landed in Murchison over 50 years ago, it was a Sunday morning and witnessed by many people who went out and collected pieces of it.

“There’s about a hundred kilograms that’s been collected and is in various museums around the world,” Dr Tas Walker shares.

It was a chunk of the meteorite at a museum in the USA, where scientists were analysing fragments, where they claim to have identified the ancient grain of stardust.

Why are scientists so fixated on finding sources of life outside our universe?

The more science advances, the more it proves the truth inside the pages of the Bible. So, evolutionists must continue to try to look beyond our planet for evidence to back up their denials of God’s existence – and where life originated from.

“The problem that they have is a belief system, a philosophy that believes that everything happened by natural process. There was no God involved. There is no God.”

“So, that’s why they’re looking for ways in which life could arise.  There’s many ways in which people have tried to come up with theories or claims about how life started.”

“But the more we know about life, the more we realise just how impossible it is.  It just shows so much evidence of design.”

“So if [our origin is] not going to be found on earth, maybe it started in space.”

“Often you’ll hear news reports about scientists discovering an area where they found the building blocks of life.”

“But the building blocks of life, even if they’re organic molecules, is not life it’s just organic molecules.”
