While Israel’s national anthem is called ‘The Hope’, Hatikvah in Hebrew, many Israelis are losing hope as Israel plunges into mass formation psychosis, according to Amir Tsarfati, Founder and President of Behold Israel. There are protests against the current government, the military is divided, the cost of living is skyrocketing, and many things are falling apart, as depicted by the media, whose agenda is to overturn Benjamin Netanyahu’s conservative government, no matter what the cost.
Israel is a tiny country, less than a third of the size of Tasmania, surrounded by enemies wanting to blast it out of existence. Iran is currently Israel’s greatest threat as they have built nuclear weapons that are of global concern. Iran, Syria, and Turkey, under the leadership of radical Islamic organisations, are ready to pounce. Missiles have been launched into Israel by Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
While Israel’s Iron Dome intercepts the barrage of rockets fired into Israel, Arabs have commented that Israel’s God protects them against the rockets, some backfiring and landing on enemy territory.
Hezbollah Holding Lebanon Hostage
Hezbollah is the terrorist group, aligned with Iran and Syria, that represents a direct threat to the northern border of Israel. They are a Shi’ite militant group based in Lebanon with a mutual goal to annihilate Israel. They gained political power by providing hospitals, schools and social services to the Lebanese Shi’ites.
Currently, Lebanon is suffering a terrible economic collapse and has become completely dysfunctional as a country. They don’t have a free flow of electricity or water, and their currency and banking system has collapsed. Amir reported images of thousands of cars filled with people fleeing to the airport, which was being run on generators and almost in darkness.
‘Lebanon is being held hostage by Hezbollah, which is a proxy of Iran,’ said Amir. ‘The Sunni world is deserting Lebanon because Lebanon is a puppet of Shiite Muslim Iran.’
Weapons are being smuggled from Iraq into Syria, then into Lebanon and used to strike Israel from the border. One example of illegal substances being stored in Lebanon was uncovered when three years ago, an explosion of nitrate oxide blew up and completely destroyed the port of Lebanon, killing over 200 people and injuring thousands.
Israel is planning a defense counter-attack on Hezbollah-occupied Lebanon to annihilate their bridges, power plants, seaports, airports as well as the Hezbollah headquarters. War is a dark cloud over Israel at this moment.
While things might look dire for Israel, Amir says he trusts God to look after them, not Israel’s government or military.
‘He’s the one who rescued us from the graves of the Holocaust, He’s the one who brought us back to the land. He’s the one who sustains us, and He’s the one that will take care of us,’ said Amir.
Iran’s Nuclear Weapons
These attacks by Israel’s proxies are to deflect attention away from Iran’s building of nuclear weapons. When Biden got into office, he unfroze Iran’s funds resulting in Iran building, to date, five bombs and announcing they now have the knowledge and technology to produce hypersonic cruise missiles.
Iran’s goal is to become the superpower that dominates the Middle East. To succeed, they must destroy Israel and get America out of the Middle East, said Amir.
‘I’m very encouraged because none of the things that are happening around the world right now are things that we should be surprised about,’ said Amir. ‘The reason why we know that they should happen is because the Bible tells us that it’s going to happen. And another thing that the Bible is telling me is that very soon we are going to see the King.’
Amir believes we are in the last hour of the last days as he sees world events aligning with Bible prophecy.
‘People don’t know the Gospel and don’t have a clue who Jesus is. Most Israelis don’t have a clue what the New Testament is, what the Gospel is and who Jesus is. In their mind, Jesus is the one who established a new religion, and the Pope is His representative, and the Vatican is the Church,’ said Amir. ‘Every person needs to know the Gospel and that there is hope only in the Messiah.’
When we think of all this turmoil in Israel, we can be encouraged to know that Jesus will return to Jerusalem to establish His Kingdom. This is some of the exciting news that Amir will share with us.
