Graeme, from Australind in WA, has been a Vision supporter for almost twenty years.
‘When I first started listening to Vision around 20 years ago, I found that listening to Vision was like the first time you go to a Christian conference and you hear a speaker and think, Wow, that’s amazing,’ said Graeme. ‘There’s great worship. And I found that Vision was just like that, but it was every day. It was in your lounge room and in your workshop. So, tapping into those resources is why I give.’
While Christian conferences are energising and inspiring, not everyone can attend them. Vision fills that gap by being available 24/7 and reaching remote parts of Australia where most people can’t get to easily. Vision enables you to listen to great speakers and worship music, and evangelise to others in a non-threatening way simply by suggesting they listen to Vision for themselves. Graeme said it’s been an excellent resource in growing his faith and maturity as a Christian over the past twenty years.
‘Vision brings so many different aspects to how you look at the Bible. With the different teaching, you learn lots of different things,’ said Graeme. ‘I would listen to Chuck Missler during the mornings. I learnt so much about the Bible in ways that I like to understand the Bible. We don’t all listen or study the Bible the same way.’
Graeme’s appreciation of the value of Vision for everyone to access resulted in him installing and funding multiple stations around his hometown of Bunbury. Vision’s mission is not only to preach the Gospel, because that’s what brings salvation, but to make disciples.
