During Visionathon, Maree from Banora Point has chosen to offer a little more than her usual monthly donation. She says that’s because Vision is a vital part of her daily routine.
“I love waking up and listening to the different segments throughout the day,” says Maree. “Focus on the Family and Mandy Worby are my favourites. They just break down the meaning of different things so well and it’s wonderful. It’s real and it’s obtainable to grasp and take in.”
According to Maree, she loves everything about Vision. She thinks we need to have more Christian radio stations because it’s vital to get the message of the gospel into people’s homes and cars. “Vision has such good Christian morals. It’s jam-packed and covers every base. Another thing I love are the kid’s stories.”
Maree also believes it’s so important that we give back. “God’s given this to us. So we need to give back to allow other people to share in that good news. It is just amazing. “
Just last week Maree lost her mum, but she continues to find hope and encouragement by listening to Vision. “Just knowing I can turn on the radio and there is good news. God knows what we need. There’s a beautiful song being played in the mornings, called ‘When We Fall Apart’ that just resonates with me.”
Maree has a lot going on in the background of her life right now, and she just wants to thank God for bringing Vision into her life. “You have awesome people, awesome music and scriptures. It’s the whole package. There’s nothing that’s left out.”
“I just love it!”
Isn’t it wonderful to hear how God has used Vision to breathe life into Maree and speak peace and comfort to her? Wouldn’t you like to be a part of that?
