The state of our education system is widely recognised as an important issue by most Australians. Many of us reminisce about a time when both teachers and schools were held in high esteem as places of learning.

However, concerns about the current state of the education system persist, with uncertainty surrounding the best course of action. Last month, the final report of a Senate inquiry into the growing disruptions in Australian classrooms was released.
