Mel from Western Australia has been a Vision supporter for over ten years. She’s made her donation to Visionathon today and says she really appreciates the Vision app.
“The thing I love most about Vision is the impact it’s had in my life,” says Mel. “Personally, I feel like it’s my mentor. It’s my inspiration; it’s my go-to; it’s my friend. It just helps me. I can’t get to church all the time and my husband’s not a Christian, so listening to Vision just encourages my spirit.”
Mel especially enjoys listening to Neil on 20Twenty and appreciates the political content. “It’s so appropriate right now, and it really does impact my life. I like being able to share that with those around me and it’s good to be informed and have a Christian perspective.”
Even though Mel’s husband is not a Christian, he still listens to Vision Radio and gets some enjoyment out of the songs. It’s wonderful to know that seeds are being sown through the music, and God is watering them in Mel’s family.
“My eldest son is 15 and he’s kind of walked away from the Lord,” says Mel. “But ‘The Story’ is on in the mornings, and I always leave the radio on. He sits there and has breakfast by himself, but he’s listening. I just trust in God that all these seeds being sown will be part of bringing him back. “
Mel wants to encourage everybody to make a donation and support Vision. “Just do it,” she says. “Because without Vision, there would be so many people that would not be hearing about Jesus and not being fed.”
“It’s just it’s life-changing.”
