Sarah from WA called in to make her Visionathon donation, because she believes that Vision is a light across Australia.
Sarah and her husband are passionate supporters of Vision, and they pray for the ministry regularly. She says that Vision has been such an inspiration to them and helps them keep walking with the Lord so they can show others His love.
‘We’re both fairly elderly,’ says Sarah. ‘And we just want the younger ones to follow on knowing that there is a creator God that loves them more than anyone else can love them. God loves us more than anything and gave everything for us.’
As a mum and a grandma, Sarah is always looking for resources that she can pass on to her grandchildren. ‘I give The Word For Today and V180 magazines to the children,’ she says. ‘I encourage them to read. Whether they will pick it up or just roll their eyes at me is another thing. All I know is God has put me here to pass on His wonderful message, and then I can just leave it up to Him to do the work in all of our hearts.’
Sarah knows that we’re fighting a battle against the distractions of today to get the Word of God into the younger generation. ‘The world is suffering because we’ve turned our eyes from where they should be. We should be praising the wonderful creator God who has a plan for each and every one of us. He just loves us so much.’
Even though Sarah and her husband can’t do a lot physically, they are passionate prayers. They are invested in the next generation, and have made their donation today to make sure as many people as possible can hear the Word of God.
