Truck driver Pinky is a great friend of Vision, and enjoys listening as he travels all over the country. Today he called in from North Queensland to encourage as many people as possible to give to Visionathon and be a part of helping God change lives.
Pinky’s challenge is to give what you can, and trust God to multiply it. ‘The Lord is really pulling on my heart,’ he says. ‘There are a lot of other people out there that would like to donate, but are embarrassed about how our little they can give. But what was the boy thinking when Jesus asked for his lunchbox? That tiny little bit changed a multitude of lives.’
Pinky also reminds us of the Bible story about the woman with only a small amount of oil and flour, being able to make enough for her and her son to eat. ‘She gave what she had,’ says Pinky. ‘And then the Lord returned that and blessed her abundantly with continuous oil.’
God is the God of multiplication. He can take those small amounts and turn them into something amazing. Maybe you don’t think you have much to give, but will you take a step of faith and allow God to multiply it?
Whatever amount you give, there’s going to be an extra $50 added on as an encouragement to you from Pinky standing with you and saying, you can be part of this.
Every donation makes a difference. Every dollar that we have at our disposal to keep sharing the hope and truth of God around Australia is going to help us to reach somebody. And it’ll be an encouragement to you too, as you keep listening.
Will you respond right now with your gift?
You can respond on the phone at 1800 316 316, at vision.org.au or in the Free Vision Christian Media app. You’ll be helping people look to God daily as we believe and work together.
