Cheryl from Lakewood, New South Wales, loves Vision so much that she listens to it every day. She says it’s great to be able to give back financially, and she’s thankful to God that she can.
Cheryl’s brother was the one who first told her about Vision. At the time, he was going through a divorce and just happened to find Vision. He was so happy about it that he told Cheryl, and they both started to listen.
“I had been going through an abusive relationship myself,” says Cheryl. “I was together with my husband for 17 years. But the different things you have on the radio, the beautiful interviews and songs, were showing me that I needed to get out.”
Cheryl’s life was changed by the prayer support she received from Vision. Having so many people pray for her helped her figure out what to do. Because it’s never easy to leave a marriage.
“It’s been a long road,” Cheryl says. “But God is so awesome and you guys are a true gift from Him. Everything you do points to Jesus, and it’s just beautiful.”
Cheryl donated to Visionathon because she wanted to thank Vision for the encouragement and support she received. “Thank you for being such an amazing gift from God,” she says, “and encouraging so many people every day. It’s just fantastic.”
“I don’t know how I would live without Vision. It’s just a wonderful radio station and I thank you so much.”
