Eli from Burpengary is a faithful supporter of Vision. It doesn’t matter whether he’s sharing a physical copy or an electronic version of The Word for Today; he’s devoted to spreading the good news of God’s word.
“Vision is like fresh manna from heaven every day,” says Eli. “It’s something that we all need, especially in the times we live in. It’s a tool that we can sometimes take for granted, but God has blessed Vision to be on the front-line doing ministry.”
Eli has even been sharing the Vision app on his Facebook page with all his friends. He says whether they choose to use it or not is up to them, but he felt that God asked him to do it. The Lord is the one who put it on his heart to share.
“When I put Vision on,” says Eli, “it’s blessing and refreshing me all the time. I believe we’ve got to get fresh manna every single day, and that’s what Vision is.”
Eli lost his father last year, but he found solace and support from Vision and his church family. “The encouraging words, the different people you have bringing the word and the messages are wonderful. Whether it’s a song, a sermon or even just something that you say, it’s making a difference.”
Starting off his day with joy and encouragement is something that Eli values. “That’s what you guys do at Vision. You may not think it’s much, but God sees it. You help everyone start off their working day well.”
