Heather was our very first Visionathon caller this morning, and she shared with us how the right song at the right time can make such a difference. Heather believes that so many people connect with Vision, and she loves the variety of programming and presenters.
“God uses this medium to fill me up to overflowing,” Heather says. “It’s just incredible.”
Heather was travelling from Mitchell in outback Queensland back to Harvey Bay when she lost the radio signal. She was just feeling exhausted and empty. But the Lord prompted her to sing, and Heather filled the silence in the car with her own voice.
“It was the song, ‘Fill My Cup, Lord’ that came to me,” says Heather. “I was sure I knew the words, so I just started singing to myself and my dog. I thought, Lord, are you hearing me? Are you listening?”
“Then 10 minutes later, I managed to get a signal again. And would you believe the next song that came on was exactly that!”
