Songs That Changed You is a faith-based program that invites guests to share their personal stories of how music has transformed their lives and brought them closer to God.
On this episode, host Aiden Grant was joined by Pastor Phil McIlwraith. Together they discussed how the song, Clear To Pass by Aussie band Antiskeptic became like an awakening for Phil in his teenage years. It exposed him for the first time to good Christian music with a good Christian message.
Antiskeptic are known for their energetic live shows and powerful performances as much as for their uplifting and encouraging lyrics.
‘Their music struck something within me,’ says Phil. ‘It had a great message. From hearing Antiskeptic’s album, we were then able to go to gigs and my world was opened up to all this Australian Christian music.’
