Karen, an In Home Age care Support Worker from Rockhampton Queensland has Vision  to thank for her faith being reignited.

She found Vision three months ago by accident one morning as she was driving to work when was looking for a radio station to listen to. She has been hooked on Vision  radio since and the talks and songs have helped her to re-connect with God and bolster her faith. She has also introduced Vision  Radio to her husband.

‘My husband, who doesn’t have the same faith as I have, is getting involved through the music that’s on Vision  by downloading and uploading. He’s getting quite interested ’ said Karen

Karen’s husband has been in between jobs, but only 5 minutes after Karen made a donation to Visionathon he received a job offer.

Karen shares that during the time when her husband lost his job, it was due to listening to Vision  Radio that she was able to keep the faith and not get worried.

When he lost his job, and we’ve spoken about this too, I was completely calm about it. I had nerves and all the rest of it, but I didn’t react like I normally would because I just had a really comforting feeling that everything was going to be okay. That wouldn’t have been me even five months ago. No way in the world. But like I said, Vision  just sort of reignited my faith,’ said Karen.

Both Karen and her husband are so grateful for God’s providence and to Vision  for their new lease of faith in God.

Wouldn’t you love to be part of reaching people all over Australia with the life-changing message of Jesus? The seed you sow by donating to Visionathon will enable Vision to continue to install radio stations and take up opportunities like DAB+ Digital Radio in Sydney and Melbourne.

For every person who responds with a gift, a generous partner will provide a Plain English Version of the Bible, distributed through Bible League, to support the work of Indigenous evangelists in Australia. Your contribution to Visionathon ensures a copy of this new translation ultimately ends up in the hands of an Indigenous person in Australia.

You can respond right now with your tax-deductible donation on the phone at 1800 316 316, at vision.org.au or in the free Vision Christian Media app. You’ll be helping people look to God daily as we believe and work together.
