You Can’t Out-Give God

Yvonne is a long-time Vision supporter who had no qualms about telling us why she wanted to give to our Visionathon appeal.

“It’s everything,” says Yvonne. “When you wake up in the morning, you’ve got cheerful people, you’ve got right teachings. You’ve got preachers that are really well chosen and always have something to say to change your ideas if you don’t have the right way of thinking. It’s really good.”

Yvonne has a number of health issues that make it difficult for her to get out and about. As a result, she has plenty of time to listen to Vision. “I have it on as much as possible. Music is one of the ways that God really speaks to me. I love the young people’s music. It’s really good and it’s just part of what I do now.”

Yvonne says she also loves waking up to Robbo and Becci. “I would say they’re like brother and sister. It’s just amazing. They bounce off each other. They’re really good.”

According to Yvonne, it’s important for us all to be willing to contribute. She says it can be quite selfish to only receive and not give back.

“My challenge to people is this,” says Yvonne. “You cannot out-give God. Listen to the Holy Spirit and give what you can.”

What a wonderful testimony of what God is doing in Yvonne’s life. It’s time to step up and do your part to keep Vision going and growing!
