Looking to God Daily in 2021

Published by Vision Editorial Team | vision.org.au

Dear friends,

How will you remember 2020?

For us, it will be remembered as a significant year, when we took big steps forward in our mission to ensure the good news of God is within easy reach of every Australian.

It’s also been a year when God has continued to show himself faithful and trustworthy amid 2020’s many challenges, and an opportunity for us to put into practice Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.”

As we prepare for 2021, I am encouraged to know that we will continue to help hundreds of thousands of Australians look to God daily as we connect with them through broadcast, print and digital media. But my mind also turns to the many others who are either unaware of the truth of God or have misunderstandings blocking their openness to Him. This thought drives us on, and I hope it does for you, too.

Your financial and prayerful support is helping ensure we can continue to be a lighthouse in the midst of struggles and hardships so many face, enlightening spirits with our Lord’s Word, helping people know that God is good always, and being a constant welcome companion on the journey for so many—like Karen;

“Vision has been a real companion through good and bad times. When I recently came out of a domestic violence relationship, I listened to Vision Radio online all night to help me get out of my trauma because I just wanted the Lord with me. Vision was helping me by sowing God’s Word into my heart. My friends couldn’t believe the change in me. I can give so much credit to you for your faithfulness. The Lord is working through you.”

1 January marks the start of a new push to reach even more people like Karen.
Over the next 3 years, we have plans to expand Vision Christian Radio into 100+ more regional towns and cities, and 2021 will see a big increase in our focus on reaching people in major cities (and everywhere) through mobile apps and other digital platforms.

I can’t wait to hear the stories of God at work as His Word goes out to even more people.

From all of the team here at Vision, thank you for joining with us in this vital mission, and we pray that the peace of God will be with you and your family this Christmas.

Blessings to you,

Phil Edwards
Chief Executive Officer

PS We hope you are encouraged and inspired by the summer edition of Vision for Every Australian, which the team have prepared for you.
