Daniel and Dorothy discovered Vision while on a caravan holiday in 2017 and have been avid listeners ever since. They loved having Vision radio on while travelling in the Outback, and appreciate hearing the testimonies and the Word of God that we all love and need so much!
Daniel says, “We are grey nomads, and we were travelling to the Alice, then up to Katherine and the WA coast. We enjoyed that. We only have a standard car radio, and often we couldn’t get anything at all to listen to.”
“Then all of the sudden, we got Christian music and people talking about Jesus and the love of the Lord. Well, we were over the moon! And so we got addicted to that for the rest of that holiday. We don’t get much good reception here at home, but we listen to it on our mobile phones.”
In Outback Australia, Vision is often the only station that some of those little towns get. “At first we were very surprised to get it,” says Daniel. “Christian radio is not really that widespread. But having it in the middle of nowhere like that and on the coast, we just loved it. It was very uplifting and thrilling. We were singing along and humming when we didn’t know the words.”
Daniel wants to challenge people to give to Vision, so that even more Australians can be reached through this amazing ministry. “Well, we live in days where we need to get people to Jesus and Jesus to people.
Radio is just a magnificent media model to do that.”
The Vision family stretches far and wide and when a family member is in need, we all unite in prayer together.
Will you join with us this Visionathon to ensure that this ministry can keep helping people to connect to God today and in the future.
