Dear Vision family

The days are warming up as summer approaches. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, ‘For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:’ It’s comforting to know that no matter what is going on in the world or our lives, God knows about it and how it’s going to end. For those who trust God, it will always end well.

So, whatever your favourite season is, you know that it will come around to that time again during the seasonal cycle. Then, the circuit continues again. So, how do you survive the seasons or the life situations you don’t like? You look to God daily, read His Word daily, and pray as often as you would talk or text your best friend. One easy way to help you look to God daily is through our daily devotional, The Word for Today. The latest edition is just about to arrive in subscribers mailboxes – so keep an eye out for it. If you are not yet subscribed I encourage you to sign up today—its free, and will be automatically sent to your mailbox every three months (its also free as a daily email too).

While the world may currently be going through a dark season, remember that everything that happens is part of God’s plan.

‘He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;’ Daniel 2:21 ESV

There is power in standing together for the Gospel. Firstly, you will never feel alone when you connect with God’s family. But most importantly, we become a formidable force against Satan’s trickery when we stand against him together to ride out any dark seasons.

In Christ,

P.S. Whether you stand with Vision financially or through prayer, your support is making a difference. I invite you to listen to Vision Christian Radio from 14-17 November for Visionathon. You’ll be encouraged by the impact the Gospel is having all across the country, and don’t forget to share your own story too! If you can also support us at this time with a financial gift we’d greatly appreciate it.
