Dear friends,
In the midst of today’s continuing uncertainties, I am so grateful to have the truth of God’s Word to stand on.
The only thing we can count on in life is change! Lockdowns, new regulations, or even a change of government are all examples of things that don’t seem to remain the same for long.
We are very fortunate here at Vision, to be able to point people to Jesus and His truth during difficult circumstances. We have a hope and a firm foundation in God and His Word, even when the rest of the world appears uncertain.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NIV)
This Scripture has always been a favourite of mine because it reminds me that Jesus’ tremendous sacrifice has made us all overcomers. It gives me comfort knowing that despite our current circumstances, there is reason to believe that things will get better.
The Word for Today’s daily devotions are just one way to help you find hope in Jesus when you need it the most.
