Dear friends,
We all know that every new season brings both challenges and opportunities.
Sometimes it’s hard to stay positive in the midst of uncertainty. That’s why hope is so important. To most people, hope is an unsure optimism. It’s a wish or desire for something without certainty of it being fulfilled.
But for believers, hope is described in Scripture as a strong and confident expectation.
In Romans 8:24–25 NKJV, we are told that in hope we have been saved:
‘Hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one also hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance, we wait eagerly for it.’
As Christians, we know that God’s perspective is the opposite of our default setting towards fear. No matter what storm or challenge comes our way, we can be confident of not only what our hope is, but where it is placed.
Whatever situation you find yourself in today the Vision team pray that our daily devotions from The Word for Today will help you find hope and healing in Jesus.
In Christ,
Phil Edwards
