Dear friends,

I hope you and your family are well in this time of uncertainty and great change. All of us have been impacted, and some have found their world turned upside down, like Carol:

‘Even in recent times with COVID-19, having been stood down and isolated, Vision has been my family.’

What a privilege to be able to help people like Carol in the middle of such turbulence.

But what really blew me away was the fact that, despite her circumstances Carol decided to make a donation to our mid-year appeal as she has done in past years—such is the value of Vision in her life, and the confidence she has in ‘Jehovah Jireh’ (the Lord who provides).

I am so thankful for faith-filled people like Carol, and also for you.

For over three decades now, the Lord has provided what we have needed for Vision to keep growing in reach and influence. Many faithful people have given so that others can hear and know the Good News of God through Vision’s broadcast, print and digital media.

In these challenging times, the value of Vision’s work has become even more evident.

You can help ensure Vision can keep reaching out, through a donation during our annual mid-year appeal.

This may be a challenging time, but it also an exciting opportunity for the Gospel which says that ‘God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.’ (2 Timothy 1:7NKJV) What a contrast this is to the message of the world!

The hardworking and loyal Vision team have not let go of our mission even when the times have also been challenging for us. Their stick-at-it attitude has not only kept the ministry operating, but together we’ve also achieved the massive task of moving to our new and more capable ministry HQ. I’m excited to report the Gospel is now going out 24/7 from the new Vision Christian Media Hub. Praise God!

I want to sincerely thank everyone who has joined their finances and faith with ours to help achieve this significant milestone. We had planned on holding a special dedication service on May 1, however this has had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 situation—we’ll let you know when it is rescheduled so we can celebrate what God has done together.

As we begin this exciting new season, we can have confidence God’s Word will continue to bring life and hope to many who are searching, and He’ll continue to provide for us as we follow His leading.

I will close with a reminder of two Scriptures that I mentioned in my last letter, which have resonated strongly with me over the past few months;

‘See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.’  – Isaiah 43:19NIV

Then He said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones and say to them, “Dry bones, hear the Word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”’ – Ezekiel 37:4–6NIV

Please pray with me that, as we speak the Word of the Lord over Australia, He will make a way in this spiritual wilderness and the ‘dry bones’ in our nation will come alive!

Thank you again for your ongoing support of this mission to our nation.

Kind regards,

Phil Edwards
Chief Executive Officer
