Dear friends,

The love for God and generosity of our supporters never ceases to amaze me. We were privileged to hear many inspiring stories during Visionathon. The office is always abuzz during Visionathon as staff share amazing stories from supporters who have donated. Some people faithfully gave their last few coins and told us how God had blessed them in an unexpected way. Others received God’s blessing and paid it forward by sowing financial seeds into Vision’s ministry. If you missed the opportunity to give towards Vision’s End of Year appeal, now is as good a time as any to support Vision’s ministry.

Over the past 34 years, thanks to supporters just like you, Vision has grown to be an even stronger force in the media marketplace. The radio network is the fastest-growing in Australia, with almost 800 radio stations installed nationwide, including our newly launched high-powered 104.3FM station in Hobart, reaching approximately 250,000 souls with the hope of the Gospel. This is all thanks to you, our supporters, who find strength in our resources and in return, strengthen us through your donations and prayers to keep us going and growing. Thank you so much for partnering with us. Without you, we would cease to exist. We are always humbly aware of this.

“You shall surely give to Him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to Him, because for this thing the LORD your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand.” – Deuteronomy 15:10

For those who find it difficult to evangelise, pointing people to Vision’s resources is a way to share the Gospel in a subtle and engaging way that allows God’s Word to speak for itself. Jocelyne shared why she chose to donate during our recent Visionathon.

‘Thank you, Vision; you are indeed a light in the darkness. With all that’s going on in the world, it would be easy to get disheartened but thank God for Vision. You are the light that keeps our spiritual vision open and our faith encouraged and shared. I am a monthly partner, but it felt so important to give today, especially if it can be doubled. As Christians, it is so important that we do what we can to keep Vision alive so that it can reach the lost and inspire hope throughout our great land of Australia. Thank you, and God bless you all at Vision.’ – Jocelyne from EDEN, NSW

We currently reach approximately one million people a month through radio, our Vision app, social media and print publications. With so many Australian souls needing salvation, would you prayerfully consider stepping out in faith and joining us in our mission by supporting us financially? Would you also consider supporting us on an ongoing monthly basis? This would help us so much with planning our budget if we have some certainty of available funds.

Let me finish by wishing you a blessed Christmas. May Jesus sit at your table this Christmas as a reminder of the greatest gift given to the world. His birth assured us an inheritance in His royal family and eternal life to all who know Him as their Lord and Saviour.

If you or someone you know is alone this Christmas season, our Prayerline always has a friendly voice ready and willing to pray for you and help you in times of spiritual struggles. See vision.org.au/prayer or phone 1800 772 936. Also, please keep Vision in your daily prayers.

God bless,

Phil Edwards
Chief Executive Officer

P.S. We hope the latest stories and testimonies of God working in everyday Aussie lives through Vision will inspire you and make you realise how important your support and partnership are in this mission to advance God’s Kingdom.
