“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 12:12 RSV
In the last few years, the world has experienced a great shaking as news of wars and rumours of wars, economic chaos, potential takeovers, and the threat of starvation is becoming a reality for many. As devastating as this news is, it has woken many people up to understand that a major spiritual battle is going on. We are in spiritual warfare, and as Christians now more than ever, we need as many people praying as we do boots on the ground.
When Jesus walked the earth, He invaded Satan’s territory, prompting an epic spiritual battle against Satan and his forces of evil. How did He do it? He pointed sinners to God. He was the bridge that connected sinners back to God. He did not save through violence; He simply taught those who were willing to listen and invited people to follow Him. We know Jesus was not a rich man. He trusted His Father and relied on His supporters who joined Him in His ministry to spread the Good News of eternal salvation and release people from the influence of Satan.
Vision Christian Media is uniquely positioned to bring help, hope and healing by providing 24/7 access to God’s Word, Christian music, and inspiring content to help people in their Christian walk and times of need. But we cannot do this without the continued support of people just like you. Will you be one of those bringing help, hope and healing by donating to Vision’s important end of year appeal? To fight battles, we need a steady supply of ammunition. Our ammo is our Christian gifts, talents, and resources that feed our souls and provide the means and strength to face the challenges ahead. The more you learn God’s Word, the stronger you become.
Thanks to our loyal supporters, we’ve been working hard to ensure we are leaders in the marketplace by using modern technology to develop our Vision app, allowing people to engage with God’s Word, live radio, devotionals, podcasts and content on a 24/7 basis—all for free! So far, we are reaching around a million people a month, but our prayer is that every Australian would know the hope and healing that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. But the resources required are great to fill this mission. Vision Christian Radio is Australia’s fastest-growing radio network with over 750 stations nationwide. We’re excited that our new high power FM service covering Hobart will go to air this month, and that we’re now well over half way through our three year project to bring Vision radio to 100 new small towns across the nation.
Your feedback inspires us to keep improving how people access and engage with God’s Word through Vision’s ministry. Here’s one of those many stories we receive daily and find encouraging:
‘I thank God for Vision for helping me to keep my focus on Him over what has been a challenging couple of years. I’ve battled chronic fatigue for over a decade and at times have been unable to leave home, attend church, and fellowship with other believers, so I truly appreciate the blessing that Vision is to me. Thank you Vision for not shying away from teaching the truth of God’s Word (even what is challenging) and helping build my faith and grow in the Lord, despite my debilitating health issues. God bless you all…’ – Thuy from VIC
There is much darkness creeping into our world. Things will get tougher. So, now more than ever is the time to band together and bring the hope of the Gospel into people’s lives. With your support and donation during Visionathon, starting 15 November, together we can confidently step into 2023 boldly and continue to touch lives and nourish souls.
By partnering together, we can continue to take God’s Word to every corner of Australia; to bring help, hope, and healing to whoever needs it most.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration and support of Vision once again during our year-end appeal.
