“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brethren dwell in unity!” Psalm 133:1
Vision has only been made possible with the practical support and dedicated prayers of other fellow believers across Australia; who have graciously over the years joined with us as ‘co-missionaries’ to use mass media to take the Word of God to every corner of Australia. Habakkuk 2:2 was the original Scripture that inspired us, gave us our name and united a movement together.
“Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it”
Vision’s founders were not only pioneers of Christian radio in Australia, but they saw that media could be used as an effective way to reach across our vast continent and remote parts; so anyone who wanted to could hear God’s Word, be uplifted and have their lives changed. Therefore, with only limited resources, our founders stepped forward in great faith and with very humble beginnings.
Today, Vision is a large and growing national ministry that is a trusted, consistent and unifying voice. Reaching over a million followers a month through narrowcast radio, printed materials, cloud-based apps, and digital social media; bringing healing, hope and reconciliation across our land.
The message of reconciliation…as Christ’s ambassadors
What we are doing together is no small thing. It is significant in the history of our nation and brings truth and clarity at a time of so much uncertainty and division. The truth we bring is found in 2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (NIV)
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, Who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them… And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us… We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”
