The Treasury Project – Deuteronomy 6:6

by | Sat, Jul 30 2022

These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Deuteronomy 6:6

Adele shares her reflections on this verse…

Too often we can carry regrets and guilt from things that have happened in the past but that is not the way God intends us to live. God’s justice involves reconciling us to Himself. There are beautiful verses throughout the bible that tell us that He removes our sin like a morning mist clears (Is 44:22); that He removes them from us as far as the East is from the West (Ps 103:12); and that He washes us white as snow (Is 1:18). This is all possible because Jesus came and lived on earth and in His death, He paid the price for our sins. (Is 53:4-6) (John 3:16)

One of the great gifts God has given us is the ability to confess our sins and know from verses like this that God willingly forgives and forgets them.

Thank you again for joining with others across Australia in learning and meditating on Scripture through The Treasury Project.

We trust God will bless you as you commit His Word to your memory and allow it to penetrate deep into your heart.
