Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”John 14:6
The first sentence is already bursting with meaning and substance. It just about sums up all we need to know about Jesus. He is the Way. The only way to eternal life. Maybe you do not feel worthy of starting a relationship with Jesus. But rest assured, there are no rituals we must perform to connect with Jesus. You only need to open your heart to Him. He is the Truth. He invites us to lay before Him all our mistakes our fears, our sins, and our pain. Not only does Jesus heal us but he also restores us through the power of His blood. He is the Life. He changes us and makes us white as snow with no blemish or sin as he also renews our strength and our spirit. We are all called to a new life with Jesus. With different goals and rules and actions to the world around us. As we grow closer to Him, so we become more like Him. And only by his leading and power can we profoundly change the world around us.
