A New Chapter is About to Begin

May 2020 will mark the start of a new chapter in Vision’s ongoing story of impact and growth.

It’s the day we officially launch the new Vision Christian Media ‘hub’—a place from which the Gospel will be shared 24/7 nationwide.

Communicators, writers, producers, developers, journalists, technicians and distributors will be collaborating together there to share the hope of Jesus with Australia.

This will be a significant day which we will mark with a celebration of God’s goodness and faithfulness.

He has not only provided a wonderful new facility, but has shown Himself strong on our behalf through many miracles over the years. It’s amazing to think how far we’ve come since those six people gathered around a kitchen table in 1988 with a dream that, one day, every Australian would be able to hear the Good News through media.

Today, believers from all backgrounds have supported that dream as it has unfolded into a large and growing ministry, reaching out through broadcast, print and digital media.

In Psalm 30 we read David’s song for the dedication of the temple. In verse 4 he declares:

Sing the praises of the Lord, you His faithful people; praise His holy name.

It’s interesting he wrote this dedication well in advance of the temple being built—no doubt he could see it in his mind’s eye and knew that God would be faithful (which he was, through David’s son, Solomon).

Like David, we know God always keeps His promises—like the one in Isaiah 55:11 which assures us that, as His Word goes out, it always produces fruit, accomplishing all He wants, and prospering everywhere He sends it. We see that happening daily as we receive testimonies of God at work through Vision across our nation.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of these bold new steps. With God’s help, the Good News will unfailingly emanate from this new ‘hub’ for decades to come.
