Over the last 21 years, 733 Vision relay stations have been installed across Australia. Many of them in remote communities far from our state capitals.
It’s in these far-flung regions that Vision is often most appreciated and is a lifeline of hope and love for listeners without access to city conveniences.
Our Broadcast Operations technicians are responsible for keeping all these stations on air 24/7, responding to service faults, and maintaining and upgrading the equipment when necessary. It is a massive job made possible through your support.
Now that the regions in WA have come out of hard lockdown, Hein has been able to hit the road to perform some long-awaited repairs and maintenance at 15 Vision radio transmitter sites. Six weeks plus over 6,000 km and not one flat tyre or kangaroo strike, praise God!
