Update 12 February 2021:
The final investigation report by RZIM has been released and can be read here.

As a result of the findings of this report RZIM has chosen to discontinue producing their radio programs Just Thinking and Let My People Think, and therefore these programs will no longer be heard on Vision.

Original Statement 8 January 2021:

Over the Christmas break, we and others globally learned of some very sad and disheartening news regarding the late Ravi Zacharias.

Ravi Zacharias was a gifted orator known for his Biblical Apologetics. In late December 2020 we were shocked to read a statement from the board of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) outlining the preliminary outcome of an investigation into claims of sexual misconduct made against Ravi Zacharias several months earlier. In short, the statement indicates the investigation shows the allegations have substance.

In their statement, the Executive Committee of the RZIM Board of Directors say “this misconduct is deeply troubling and wholly inconsistent with the man Ravi Zacharias presented both publicly and privately to so many over more than four decades of public ministry. We are heartbroken at learning this but feel it necessary to be transparent and to inform our staff, donors, and supporters at this time, even while the investigation continues. We will speak more comprehensively to all concerned after the completion of the investigation. We are devastated for those who have suffered from Ravi’s misconduct and for the pain that they are enduring. They have asked for confidentiality and anonymity, and both we and the investigators are committed to honouring their wishes. In the meantime, we share your compassion for any victims of this conduct, and we appreciate your prayers for them and also for Ravi’s family who have been devastated by this information. As ever, the Lord remains our principal hope for healing and restoration”. You can read the entire statement at the RZIM website.

Vision has long had an association with RZIM so this terribly sad and upsetting news. Our heart breaks for the women involved, Ravi’s family and the RZIM ministry team as a whole as they work through it all together.

After prayerful consideration, we have determined it would not be appropriate for Vision to continue with any broadcast programming, product sales or promotions featuring Ravi Zacharias. These have since been removed from Vision’s radio schedule and store, although for now we retain several RZIM-supplied radio programs that feature Apologetic speakers other than Ravi Zacharias.

Please join with us in prayer for the victims of this conduct, and for Ravi’s family and colleagues who have been devastated by this information.
