Vision Hits The Road

trucking

At almost one-quarter the length of a footy field, it’s pretty hard not to notice when one of David Sweeny’s trucks pulls up alongside you.

You might say Dave’s got a very big Vision to change lives all over Australia!

Dave is ecstatic about the fact he’s been able to use his everyday business to promote God’s business:

‘It’s very bright and in your face …if you’re going to do something you might as well get out there and make a big impression,’ he says.

His company, 316Transport operates three B-Double semi-trailers between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Last year when having new canvas curtains manufactured, he saw an opportunity to spread the word about our ministry and offered us the space to advertise The Word for Today and Vision Christian Radio on one of them—covering 20,000km every month over at least the next four years.

The massive Vision billboard hit the road in January and is already making an impact. Rohan (the driver, pictured) has just been blown away with truckies and other people coming up to him saying hi and asking for copies of The Word for Today (we’ve made sure he has copies to hand out!)

Just as God asked Moses: ‘What is that in your hand?’ (a stick), God is using Dave’s B-Double for His purposes. Perhaps God has put something in your hand that He wants to use also? (We’d especially love to hear from other truck owners keen to help get the message out…)

If you spot the rig on the road snap a picture and tag us on www.facebook.com/visionradio

Praying and Stepping Out in Faith

Do you think of prayer as being something passive, or active?

Blind Sisters See Each Other for the First Time

Riya and her sister Najmin have been blind for as long as they can remember. They had no idea that the Miracle of a $33 cataract surgery could change their lives forever. Watch their Miracle unfold.
