‘“Behold the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “When I will send a famine on the land, not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, but rather for hearing the words of the Lord.”’ Amos 8:11 NASB

Dear precious friends and readers,

Despite the fact we are ever busy, active in our communities, doing good works, reaching out to the lost and establishing ministries all over the country—the single most desperate need in our lives as individual believers, remains the same:

To not just to know what the Word of God says, but to also know what the Word of God means and how to live it daily!

Life is full of many challenges and trials, so when the unexpected comes, we should be prepared so we know how to respond in a Biblical way.

In 1 Chronicles 12:32 NIV we read that the men ‘from Issachar… understood the times and knew what Israel should do.’

I pray The Word for Today will be of enormous benefit to your daily growth as His disciple.

Together we can continue to make His Word known throughout Australia and beyond. Please continue to pray with us as His Word goes forth through Christian radio, publishing and digital means.

In His strong and mighty name
