“It’s the most wonderful lifeline (Vision) and just turning on that radio and God’s speaking to me through the radio,” Alison declared.
This is Alison who’s told Vision how the last three years of her life were absolutely horrendous for her.
Alison went through a horrible divorce and didn’t have enough money to fund it so I had to do it all myself.
“And my biggest supporter who was my mum, unfortunately, it all got too much for her and she committed suicide last year.”
“but even though it was the most terrible thing that’s happened it just brought me closer to God,” Alison confessed, saying she could have walked away but she knew God was there and somehow it was all part of His plan.
Alison admitted it was more than just a catalyst for her faith. She said it also brought her sisters back to the Lord.
As for Vision’s part in her restoration Alison said she’d always been a bit of a loner.
“Vision’s one of those places I can go and I really feel that I’m a part of something.”
“It’s the most wonderful lifeline and just turning on that radio and God’s speaking to me through the radio,” Alison declared.
She also credited the likes of Ravi Zacharias, Chuck Missler, and the Word For the Day for helping to lift her up into a good place after everything that’s happened.
In a world of compromises, the Word of God gives us specific instruction on Godly stewardship. With a view from the corporate boardroom, Chuck Missler explores the Biblical requirements of both our personal and professional faithfulness.
