Vision Changed My Life

Many listeners tell us how Vision has been there to comfort them in difficult times, sometimes reconnecting them to God through The Word For Today, sometimes making them feel part of the wider Christian family through Vision Christian Radio, or maybe praying for them through Vision Christian Prayer.

Pina is from Waterford in WA. She's a relative newbie to Vision Christian Radio, having only discovered the station earlier this year.  In that short time she says it has come to mean a great deal to her.

True Hope 2017

In December 2015 she was on holiday with her husband in Sydney - but was supposed to be a happy time nearly turned into a nightmare, with her facing the possibility of losing her life, as she ended up with a rare kind of aneurysm, with a survival rate of ten percent or less. An aneurysm is an abnormal swelling or bulge in the wall of a blood vessel, such as an artery - and they can be fatal if they rupture, and Pina needed surgery to fix it.

Thankfully, Pina was one of the successful 10 percent.

"The Lord gave me back my life", she says, "and so I have dedicated my life back to the Lord".

She says she's prayed for God to send her someone - and then one day, when she was back home, walking down by the river, she met a lady who told her about Vision Christian Radio.

"I've been listening every day since then and it has absolutely changed my life".

She says she's bringing her children back to the Lord - but faces another challenge now as she has a grandchild who is going to be born with heart issues. She says the family are praying that the baby will be alright.

"Thank you, Vision, so much, for helping to change my life and for being with me every step of the way. You mean so much to me".

1 Corinthians 1:3-4 - The God of all comfort comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in trouble with the comfort we receive from God.
