Vision Radio Brings Unity and Diversity

Diverse silo homes

“It’s the talk, all the interviews are brilliant, and I love the fact you’re so interdenominational and it flows through my heart really.’

Linda from Kingaroy proudly boasts Vision Radio was the second station to go on air all those years ago.

“It’s been so encouraging to me over the years and I’m very encouraged by all the coverage you’ve given the ACL (Australian Christian Lobby).”

Linda knew the lady who funded the station saying she was from her church.

“Faith McNichol. She’s died now but she was an amazing Christian lady and she asked me to be the one to announce it in church.”

Linda said Faith wanted to remain anonymous.

“But look at it now. 700 stations!”

Linda mentioned the unifying effect Vision radio has had in the community in the way it’s unified the churches.

“You’ve all those different denominations represented. You’ve Pentecostals to the more traditional and everybody’s included. It’s just about Christ and it’s just so freeing for the church and my heart is so about that.”

Linda wanted to expand on the positive effect Vision Radio has had on people’s lives.

“God has allowed us to all express our faith through our own personalities and it’s the different denominations that suit different personalities. That’s diversity.”
