Susan from Wagin WA

“10 days ago Phil, my husband of 42 years passed away.”

This is the heart-rending story from Susan who’s a Vision donor from Wagin in Western Australia.

Susan said that although Phil’s death has left the family devastated her resolve has been to keep Christ at the centre of her life through this time of grief.True Hope 2017

Susan said she draws strength and comfort through reading the Word of God as she moves into a period of loneliness without her husband’s companionship.

“One thing I know, Vision Radio will be my saviour during the nights,” Susan confirmed.

Susan said her faith has given her peace through her loss.

“Without faith we struggle and become fearful but once we allow God into our lives and release our many burdens to our heavenly Father, the sense of peace outweighs the fear.”

“We can’t let ourselves go into the dark places,” Susan warned. “We need to shine light and give glory to God even though we’re in a sad time.”

Susan and the family are occupied running a farm. That’s a fulltime job on its own and they’re managing to cope without Phil.
