Laurelle’s brief description of Vision really sums up what we do together in our increasingly secular and idolatrous nation, as we put into practice the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:14–15 NLT:
‘You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.’
Why is Vision having so much impact? I believe one of the key reasons is that we know what God has called us to do, and together we have remained faithful to it.
Our Mission: To be a trusted, consistent and unifying voice in the Australian community to challenge, encourage and affirm people in the Christian faith.

I am grieved by the sea of hate, hurt, fear and growing distrust in our nation. However, I am excited and encouraged at how God can transform even those who feel most lost, most alone or most unworthy, as we apply His Word and share it faithfully.

PS I read a great quote from William Wilberforce recently, which fits perfectly with what Vision does. It was ‘four things we ought to do with the God’s Word: admit it as the Word of God, commit it to our hearts and minds, submit to it, and; transmit it to the world.’ That’s what we do!
