A Problem and an Opportunity

Dear friends,

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the future. Or at least, what it might look like given the changes we see all around us.

I’ve also been thinking about the responsibility we have to ensure future generations have the opportunity to hear the gospel, and how what we do now will lay the foundations for what will follow.

Your faithfulness and generosity in the past has enabled us to put wings to our audacious dream to uphold and promote God’s Word for every Australian through media that reaches people where they are. (See overleaf for just a few examples of the difference you’ve already made in lives across this nation.)

But there is still much more work to do, and we’ve struck a problem that we need your help to overcome.

Following years of continued growth, Vision’s facilities have reached bursting point, and if we are to continue growing we must move. After much prayer and consideration of what we will need to reach future generations, our board has decided to take a step of faith toward securing a new home for Vision.

This freestanding building will be a ‘keystone’ for many decades to come, enabling continued growth toward our dream of seeing Australian lives and society redeemed and transformed through Jesus Christ. It will enable:

Your help is needed to bring life to even more Australians—today, and in the future.

$3 million is needed by mid-2019 in order to proceed with the purchase. We are believing in faith that God will supply the funds we need—on top of our ongoing operational needs. Believe me, this is a massive step of faith for us! It is both exciting and scary—but we’re trusting it will come to pass in a way that God will get all the glory.

During Visionathon all donations from people just like you will be split evenly between our normal operating costs and raising funds for this big step of faith. Will you consider stepping out in faith with us with an extra gift to enable Vision to keep going and keep growing? Please pray about the possibility and respond as you are able.

Let me close with the words of David, as a great reminder of where we can place our trust.

‘I will lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.’ Psalm 121:1–2 NIV

Thank you for your ongoing partnership with us in sharing God’s Word with Australia.

In His Strong and Mighty name,

Phil Edwards
Chief Executive Officer

PS Please know that we never take your generous support for granted, and are thankful to God for the way He enables people to give at different times and different levels to ensure His Word is broadcast and spread across Australia. Our heart is that you would earnestly seek Him about this special opportunity to invest in the Gospel.

Uncompromising Truth

‘I love how uncompromising you are in speaking the truth of the Gospel.’ – Rachel, SA Dear friends, When you do the right thing, people notice. God is Still on the Move

As we’ve stretched our faith, we have seen so many …Read More
