Real Hope For Our Spiritually Thirsty Nation

Dear friends,

Is Australia getting drier?

The scientific definition of drought is ‘a serious or severe rainfall deficiency’ or ‘a period of prolonged dryness’.

The dryness of our land is pretty obvious. Every day farmers across the country are crying out for rain, and we all should be crying out with them.

But physical drought isn’t the only cause for concern in our nation. Spiritually speaking, too many are lost, dry and thirsty—perishing for lack of knowledge, or simply distracted by our ‘about me’ culture.

That’s why we’re so thankful for your support. Together we can continue to help Australians focus on God and His Word—reaching real people with real hope;

‘Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters…  And let your soul delight itself in abundance.’ Isaiah 55:1–2 NKJV

This abundant life is in stark contrast to the world we live in, as Jesus said in John 10:10 NKJV:

Jesus said: ‘The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.’

In an age when most Australians are disconnected from church, and many Christians lack Biblical understanding, Vision’s ministry is becoming increasingly important. Together we’re reaching people right where they are—bringing real hope through broadcast, print, and digital media.

The only hope for Australia is the message of the Gospel because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Thank you to everyone who has stood with us, especially during this exciting time as we prepare to move Vision into our bigger and more capable home next year and; ‘enlarge the place of [our] tent, stretch [our] tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen [our] cords, strengthen [our] stakes.’ (Isaiah 54:2)

All of us at Vision are so grateful to know you are with us in this mission to Australia.

Warm Regards

Phil Edwards
