A basketball loving American pastor has used his incredible skills to raise enough money to build a new court.
He also set a world record in the process.
Perry Dissmore made one thousand free throws in under 60 minutes for 50 consecutive days to raise $50,000.
That’s around 17 free throws per minute or one throw ever three and a half seconds.
He also recorded an 84 percent success rate.
The children’s pastor at Freedom Church in Florida shot the baskets at 27 different locations.
The funds will help build the court for missionaries in Sri Lanka as a gospel connection to young people.
Pastor Dissmore told A-G News he is grateful to have raised the money.
The 49 year old’s latest basketball feat is one of several he’s achieved to be certified by the Guinness Book of World Records.
