Churches on Dartmoor in southwest England have installed interactive prayer trails in their churchyards.
Each trail consists of a series of stations including a Bible verse, a reflection point and a QR code linked to relevant music.
They were inspired by lockdowns and aim to appeal to families and passers-by enjoying the green spaces near the church.
And they’re already proving very popular.
Parents say for many children, it’s a good way to keep them active when it can be hard to sit still in a church service.
Many families have walked the trails several times.
They found them an easy place to pray for relatives and friends as well as their church, community and worrying events at home and abroad.
Other churches across the UK are now adapting the creative prayer trails for their own churches.
