Dr Kameel Majdali, the founder of Teach all Nations (TAN) ministry, is an ordained minister of the Australian Christian Churches and has a PhD from the University of Melbourne. He served as the Principal of Harvest Bible College for 13 years, training and equipping people for full-time ministry. Kameel is a highly respected authority in biblical theology. He currently resides in the UK and travels all over the world preaching God’s Word. Kameel is in Australia for his Annual Understanding the Times national tour that will be presented from 9 September to 24 October 2022. He joined Neil Johnson, host of 20Twenty for a special live streamed event hosted at Vision’s studios.

This article covers the special Q & A segment where listeners were able to have their questions answered by Kameel.

Trevor and Martin asked: What do you think about a one-world religion?

Kameel: I think it is a perfect fulfilment of Bible prophecy. There’s anecdotal evidence that we are getting close to end times. There are attempts not just to reunite amongst Christians that have been estranged; that’s one thing; it’s to unite with other religions. To do that would imply syncretism, splicing into Christianity the theologies and practices of other religions. This is what ancient Israel did in the Old Testament and got castigated by the prophets, the judges, and of course, by the Lord because they were mixing Canaanite practices with their Israelite religion. It didn’t work back then, and it’s certainly not going to work now.

Georgia asked: How do I start regularly reading my Bible?

Kameel: I recommend The Word for Today and the Soul Food Reading Program. I’m a Bible teacher, and I’ve been reading Soul Food since 2009. I highly recommend it. That’s the devotional side. For the study side to learning Scripture, I recommend joining a small Bible study group. Bible study is the best way to learn the Bible. You will need to purchase a study Bible from your local Bible bookstore or online; a study Bible which can help you learn the Bible in a more accelerated way.

I think the key and fundamental thing is that faith is rising. When we read the Bible, it’s food for faith. I recommend to not only read the Bible but listen to the Bible. Have an audio Bible. I’ve been doing that also with Soul Food since 2008. Seeing it and simultaneously hearing it is very, very powerful. God starts to speak. You’ll get a thought or inspiration. You may start worshipping because you’re so grateful for what God is showing you. It is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

Neil believes reading the Bible regularly stimulates a relationship with God and prepares you for hard times.

Andy asked: As Christians, how should we respond to climate challenges?

Kameel: Christians should do their homework and decide for themselves what is fact and what is fiction. I do not believe it’s wise to just listen to what people tell us and not find out for ourselves. The proposed changes in response to climate change are pretty drastic. If we let the so-called experts decide for us and get on with our lives, we might find ourselves in deep trouble. That’s part of what’s going on in Europe right now with their energy policies and their reaction and cooperation with what experts have said. We need to study for ourselves and decide for ourselves. That’s how we used to do things in the West, and it has stood us in good stead. So how should we respond? Learn the issue, but walk with God and do what the Holy Spirit says.

Kameel’s newly released books:

The Prophet from Babylon: Understanding the Book of Daniel

The Book of Daniel is the foundation stone of all end-time prophecy. It is the prophetic counterpart to the book of Revelation.

The Prophet from Babylon ‘And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.’ Daniel 2:44 (NKJV)

The Secret Place: Understanding Psalm 91. This 16-verse Psalm is so powerful and relevant, especially in these change-filled, crisis-riddled, chaos-laden times in which we live. When people are looking for a place of true safety, peace, protection from plagues and the snare of the fouler, don’t look any further than Psalm 91. It is a very practical and encouraging book, so people find repose in the secret place.

The Power of Faith: Understanding the Books of Ruth and Esther. It’s about how two ordinary women facing adversity and danger became history makers. And the reason is the power of their faith.
