Everyone Needs to Hear the Gospel

EVERYONE.

The Lord is “not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9 NIV)

That means the people we like and those we don’t. People we agree with and those with whom we clash. People just like us, and those radically different. Everyone.

“How, then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” (Romans 10:14 NIV)

We, hold the hope and truth people are looking for in a time of uncertainty, fear and confusion—and we are duty-bound to share it, on our own through daily interactions, and also by working together as believers unified in Christ.

Visionathon is almost here, and your financial support is needed to keep reaching out with God’s good news 24/7 to all who will listen, read or watch.

How much do we need? We are believing for $1,000,320 to come in during the appeal plus also to see 320 people decide to commit to monthly giving throughout 2022.

Your gift will be a seed sown in good soil. I’m sure you’ll agree that 2021 has been a crazy old year but despite the lockdowns and disruption, the ministry has continued to grow!

  • This year we’ve established 19 new Vision Christian Radio FM services, most of them in regional towns where people often have far less access to ministry than in the city.
  • We’re making great progress with the preparations to establish the new 10,000 Watt radio FM service for Hobart, with two transmitters recently arriving from overseas—an answer to prayer as we were initially told to expect major delays with global freight!
  • The launch of the new Vision App (also launched this year) has resulted in a big jump in people being reached with God’s Word, and engaging with it, as we’ve been able to make it simpler and easier to access the daily insights and encouragement Vision brings
  • The circulation of the printed edition of The Word for Today also continues to grow.

There is still much more growing to do as we take steps toward the dream of taking the good news of God to every Australian. So please PRAY, TUNE IN and TAKE PART in Visionathon—Nov 16-19 on Vision Christian Radio. You can also respond with a gift today.

PS You might be wondering how we determine the goals for Visionathon—well, our budgetary need is roughly $1M but we thought we’d make it more meaningful than a plain number. The goals of $1,000,320 plus 320 new monthly partners both remind us of Ephesians 3:20 which assures us that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. Amen to that! 😊
