Most Christians desire to understand the Bible better, but usually, their study doesn’t provide them with the full picture of the cultural times presented in the Bible.
Foundations was created to fill in the gaps of Biblical information some people miss or are unaware of when studying the Bible. Understanding ancient history and the cultural differences spanning thousands of years is imperative to understanding the Bible with more depth.
Over time, words, definitions, and culture change dramatically, so applying present-day understanding and meanings to words, phrases, and events can lead to very different conclusions. By learning about the Jewish and Hebrew culture that the Bible was set in, and the environment, traditions and understandings of the people whom God chose to write down His Word, we can gain a more extensive, profound and a richer understanding of God’s Word.
Tune in to Foundations at 5.15 am and 8.45 pm AEST, Mondays to Fridays, to listen to great content about the foundations of the Bible.
