This week Christian singer Michael W. Smith was honoured to perform at the funeral for George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States of America.  In tribute to the man he called his friend, Michael sung his song 'Friends Are Friends Forever'.

"Michael is honoured to have been asked to perform a song at President George H. W. Bush's memorial service on Wednesday, December 5th in Washington D.C. Michael has been a long-time friend of the Bush Family with a particularly strong connection to our 41st President whom he met in the 1980's," his team posted on Facebook.

Earlier this year, Michael W. Smith was also invited to perform at the funeral for another dear friend and man of God, Billy Graham.   You can watch the video of his tribute below as he sung 'Above All Powers'.
