Around 7,000 thousand people have marched through London in support of the unborn.
The annual March for Life through the city was carried out under the banner of Freedom to Live.
The event’s co-director Isabel Vaughan-Spruce shared about her experience of twice being arrested for praying silently near an abortion clinic.
She was told at the time that her prayers were an offence.
The pro-life campaigner said what’s really offensive is that the UK has its highest ever abortion figures — estimated at 100,000 annually.
She noted the only government response was to clamp down on those who peacefully offer alternatives to pregnant women.
Christian Today reports The March for Life aims to bring 10,000 pro-lifers to London next year when it marks its 10th anniversary.
