A majority of Americans support pro-life crisis pregnancy centres, even as lawmakers try to discourage people from accessing them.
A recent poll found three quarters of respondents in favour of public funding of the centres.
Just 14% were against it.
Surprisingly, more than 70% of Democrats were supporters, despite the opposition of their politicians.
Two thirds of respondents would vote for candidates backing the public funding of the centres
The Christian Post reports they provide resources for pregnant women in need — including pre-natal care, clothing, and housing assistance to empower them to choose life for their child.
The poll also found overwhelming support for prosecuting vandals who’ve damaged pregnancy centres since the US Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision.
