Evangelist Franklin Graham blames America’s abandonment of God and its embrace of violent entertainment for the recent series of mass shootings in the US.
The Reverend Graham commented on social media after President Biden indicated he may try to ban some types of guns.
The preacher wrote that wouldn’t stop the problem.
He argued what would make a difference is a ban on movies, TV shows, and video games that graphically depict gun violence.
The evangelist said the US was a nation addicted to violence that will see more tragic shooting incidents.
He reiterated a Graham family theme that the country has a spiritual problem after taking God out of schools, most homes and the rearing of children.
