A new partnership plans to launch several oral Bible translation projects over the next three years.
Spoken Worldwide produces oral Bibles for people groups with no ability to read the Scriptures.
Through partnership with Seed Company, another Bible translation organization, they hope to significantly increase the tempo of their operations.
Ed Weaver with Spoken Worldwide says over the last two years, they have started five language projects.
He says Seed Company works with 951 languages and more than 1,400 global partners.
This will help for rapid expansion of oral translations.
Mr Weaver told Mission Network News they are now working out which languages are most in need of an oral Bible
Sixteen projects will begin over the next nine months.
